Jean-Francois, “JF”, Van Kerckhove is a member of our Technology & Cloud Services practice, where he serves technology and private equity clients.
A veteran with nearly three decades of industry and consulting experience, JF is passionate about helping clients reach their full potential while navigating periods of significant change and uncertainty. JF is a sought-after expert on designing and operationalizing differentiating growth strategies, reaccelerating innovation, and building customer advocacy and trust.
His recent case portfolio includes helping large HW OEMs with broad portfolio and deep operational issues, including M&A, GTM, product complexity, supply-chain redesign, and, more recently, the embracing of GenAI as a source of differentiation. He also supports PE clients in evaluating digital marketplace investments and value-creation plans. His expertise spans B2B and B2C business models.
Prior to joining us, JF was a partner and managing director for another management consulting firm, where he was the global head of its Digital Natives and Consumer Internet sector. He formerly headed multiple functions at eBay, where he acted as head of global corporate strategy, M&A and BD, and was the general manager for eBay’s geo expansion and cross-border trade business. He has also worked as the SVP of strategy and corporate development for Spirent Communications.
JF holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MSEE from K.U. Leuven holds multiple telecom-related patents, as he was one of the original researchers behind the ADSL technology while at Alcatel Research Labs.
JF is an avid tennis and golf player and, as a frequent advisor to Endeavor, enjoys mentoring marketplace start-up founders worldwide.
