WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll join our Data Science & Machine Learning Engineering experts within the AI, Insights & Solutions team. This team is part of Bain’s digital capabilities practice, which includes experts in analytics, engineering, product management, and design. In this multidisciplinary environment, you'll leverage deep technical expertise with business acumen to help clients tackle their most transformative challenges. You’ll work on integrated teams alongside our general consultants and clients to develop data-driven strategies and innovative solutions. Together, we create human-centric solutions that harness the power of data and artificial intelligence to drive competitive advantage for our clients. WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a member of the growing Data Science team in Bain’s AI, Insights & Solutions, you will:

• Work with consulting teams and clients to understand business problems, translate them into data scienceprojectsand appropriately prioritize and execute
• Develop and/or implement tools fordata acquisition, extraction, transformation, management, and manipulation of large and complex data sets.
• Develop, prototype, test, anddeploy machine learning solutionson wide ranging types of data sets, ranging from a few data points to billions
• Ensure standards and guidelines are being used by team to develop re-usable common frameworks, model and components that address repeatable tasks and problem/data sets in specific industries or business functions

• Share learnings and drive adoption of best demonstrated practices with your teammates in AISabout theoretical and technical developments in the rapidly evolving data science field, collaborate with theopen sourcecommunity, and work together to create a great working environment that attracts other great data scientists
• Keep abreast of new and current data science techniques and technologies

ABOUT YOU 

We are looking for someone who has:

• Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics or Information Sciences such as business analytics or informatics
• 2-6years of experiencein analytics
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain and discuss mathematical and machine learning technicalities with colleagues and clients from other disciplines
• Solid fundamental knowledge of supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learningmachine learning algorithmssuch as classifiers, cluster analysis, dimension reduction, regression,deep learningmethodsetc.
• Experience withMLOps– scalable development to deployment of complex data science workflows
• Experience with model explainability and interpretability techniques
• ProficiencyinPythonrequired
• Experience withContainers, Docker and Gitisrequired
• Experience inmachine learning frameworksand tools (e.g.scikit-learn,Pytorch,etc.)required
• Experience withlarge-scale distributed computing and cloud platforms such as AWS,Azureor GCP
• Experience using frameworks like OpenAI is a plus
• Strongcommunicationskillsof English andKorean isrequired
