WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join our Americas Payroll team within Finance, working closely with HR, People Operations, Recruiting, and Finance stakeholders across the region. You’ll also collaborate with external vendors and support employees across multiple South American countries, contributing to a seamless and compliant payroll operation.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for executing and supporting payroll operations across South America, with a strong focus on Brazil. You will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and timeliness while acting as a trusted point of contact for employees and internal stakeholders.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Process end-to-end payroll activities across South America, including hires, terminations, salary changes, benefits, deductions, and leaves
- Ensure accurate calculation and timely processing of payroll elements, including taxes, statutory deductions, and benefits
- Guarantee compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies across multiple countries
- Manage payroll filings and statutory requirements (e.g., eSocial, DCTFWeb, INSS, FGTS, IRRF)
- Partner with HR, Finance, and People teams to ensure accurate and timely data flow
- Maintain payroll documentation and support audit processes
- Identify risks and contribute to improvements in payroll processes, systems, and controls
- Support system enhancements, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as the main point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing timely and service-oriented support
ABOUT YOU
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience
- Strong expertise in Brazilian payroll legislation (CLT, unions/collective agreements)
- Knowledge of statutory payroll requirements (INSS, FGTS, IRRF)
- Experience managing payroll filings such as eSocial and DCTFWeb
- Strong accuracy and compliance mindset with ability to meet deadlines
- Experience managing payroll changes (hires, terminations, salary updates, deductions, leaves)
- Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken)
- Strong Excel skills and experience with payroll systems (ADP eXpert, ADP Celergo, or similar)
Nice to Have (can be trained):
- Fluency in English
- Experience with multi-country payroll across South America
- Exposure to global payroll environments
- Experience with Workday or similar HR systems
- Knowledge of accounting principles related to payroll
WORKING MODEL
This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 2 days per week.
