WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join our Americas HR Operations team, partnering closely with local HR, Recruiting, Program Management, and cross-functional stakeholders across the region. This team plays a critical role in delivering high-quality HR operational support and ensuring seamless employee lifecycle processes across Bain offices in the Americas.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Specialist working within the Workday team, you’ll be responsible for executing and maintaining system-related HR processes for employees across the Americas. You’ll combine operational expertise and process improvement capabilities to ensure exceptional service delivery in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Workday and HR Operations
- Handle data entry for HR processes like hiring, terminations, transfers, bonuses with a specific focus on employees departing for Business School, the duration of the employee’s time at Business School and the employees return.
- Ensure data accuracy for payroll and reporting deadlines.
- Verify and track HR events in Workday (e.g., hires, leaves).
- Manage leave tracking, document storage, and audits (compensation, leave, terminations).
- Handle employment verifications and generate reports.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on HR systems, policies, and operational processes.
- Understand and manage dependencies across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Troubleshoot system issues and identify operational solutions
- Responding to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests
- Proactively identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Use feedback and insights to enhance customer experience
Leadership, training and oversight
- Train and mentor new hires; share expertise.
- Act as a though partner to your team manager.
ABOUT YOU
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 2-4+ years of HR experience
- Strong understanding of HR fundamentals, including employee lifecycle processes and HR operations
- Experience working with HR systems and operational workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- English language fluency (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an HR Business Generalist
- Experience in a consulting or professional services environment
Working Model
This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 2 days per week in Mexico City.
