Job Summary
The Analyst, TSG product Management is assigned to one or a few products. The analyst will be responsible for troubleshooting and solving user inquires as well as performing routine updates. This role will gather overall product insights through tracking key metrics as well as gathering user feedback through periodic surveys. Finally, the Analyst will scope and drive smaller enhancement requests, ensuring stakeholder needs are fulfilled
Principal Accountabilities
Product Maintenance & Analytics (50%)
- Supports existing product by answering questions and troubleshooting issues, attempting to find the root cause and escalating when required
- Independently makes complex manual updates based on incoming requests as well as utilizing personal judgement to optimize product
- Runs periodic user surveys to track satisfaction as well as areas for improvement
- Tracks and analyzes key metrics, summarizing insights and findings
- Tests routine updates and enhancements to ensure necessary functionality continues to work and are user friendly
Manage enhancement requests (40%)
- Elicits requirements on small - medium sized requests, working with users to determine underlying request and potential solutions
- Transform these requests into actionable work with user stories, process flow diagrams, and other supporting materials
- Works with appropriate technical teams and third parties to complete these items, continuously communicating with key stakeholders
Develop domain knowledge (10%)
- Utilizes domain knowledge and comprehensive system understanding to act more independently
Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Associate's/Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Ability to gather and interpret user needs and translate them into clear requirements and documentation
- Quickly grasps new requirements, technologies, tools and concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for understanding and addressing customer needs
- Ability to problem solve and take initiative on multi-faceted projects/responsibilities
- Experience working in a corporate environment
- Experience solving basic issues in software tools and turning findings into actionable next steps
- Experience supporting users or customers with clear and helpful communication
