About Jennah

How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?

Bain has consistently proven to be the right company for me. I first had an inclination as I began learning about consulting and speaking to current Bainies. Each person I spoke with held a passion for Bain and the work we deliver, and consistently carried the message, "the people are what set this place apart.” As I moved into the recruiting process, each interviewer showed themselves to be someone I'd be honored to work with, learn from, and get to know. With each training and case, I've encountered hundreds of Bainies from all over the world, and one constant takeaway is that we hire amazing people.

Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?

I'm proud of the work we do and the change we can make for our clients and communities. My most rewarding case experience to date was helping assess the rebuild options for a client whose infrastructure was destroyed during the 2025 LA wildfires, which made a significant impact in my own community. When I look deeper into my personal contributions to my case teams, I’m grateful for the impact I’m able to create. We are empowered to own critical portions of answers very early on at Bain, which makes this job more rewarding and energizing.

“Build Your Own Bain” means creating a thriving career on your own terms. How have you been able to “Build Your Own Bain?”

I embraced the mindset of "Building my Own Bain" upon joining. The first way this manifested was through taking advantage of Bain's staffing model. I had candid conversations with staffing about what skills I wanted to develop, and worked with them to find casework that aligned with that. Additionally, I created mentor relationships with other Bainies with similar interests and discussed ways to continue exploring these interests while at Bain. In doing this, I became involved with Extra 10s related to my interests. I became a co-head of the Green Team and Social & Community Impact Lead. I'm also excited to continue "Building My Own Bain" during my SAC year. I am most looking forward to Bain's externship program, where I hope to work for a company within the Social Impact field.
