Hank Chen

Hank Chen is our Americas private equity lead for technology due diligence.

Hank has nearly 25 years of experience at the intersection of strategy and technology. He has completed more than 125 diligence assignments over the past 3 years for top PE software investors, representing $25B of transacted deal value. 

Prior to joining us, Hank was a partner in the software strategy group of another top firm. He also has held a number of executive roles at both Fortune 500 tech companies and startups including SimpliVity, EMC, and Lucent Technologies. 

Beyond his client work, Hank is deeply involved with our Asians at Bain and Diverse Abilities at Bain efforts.

He earned his MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering from Cornell University.
