James Gillies joined Bain in 2011 and is a leader of the firm's Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice in the UK.
James’ primary focus has been on full potential transformation programmes for industrial businesses, with a recent focus on supporting clients chart a path through the energy transition. These engagements span a range of strategy, operating model and performance improvement topics, within the UK, across Europe and in the Middle East.
Prior to Bain, James completed a Doctorate in Animal Flight at the University of Oxford.
Outside of work James enjoys endurance events, and has completed an Ironman and the Marathon des Sables.
