Whit McClung is a member of our Energy & Natural Resources practice, with a particular focus on Utilities.
Whit has led client engagements addressing a range of topics, focusing on Corporate Strategy and Performance Improvement. His work includes large capital project delivery, grid strategy, capital and O&M investment planning, procurement strategy, and workforce development.
Through this work, Whit collaborates with executives and engineering teams to meet changing customer and community needs and support a more reliable, clean energy future. He has experience across T&D functions, including planning, engineering, supply chain, customer experience, finance, field operations, and regulatory and legislative teams to create executable capital plans.
Whit has led advanced analytics teams to partner with clients to develop capital investment plans that are optimized to deliver outcomes across multiple objectives.
Prior to joining Bain, he worked in corporate finance at Caterpillar. Whit holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BBA in finance from the University of Georgia.
Outside Bain, Whit enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
