WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll join Bain’s Technology Services Group (TSG), supporting our employees with the technology they rely on every day. You’ll work closely with other TSG colleagues and external vendors to resolve technical issues, maintain our technology environment, and deliver a high-quality support experience.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As a TSG Support Coordinator, you’ll serve as a primary point of contact for employees experiencing IT-related issues. You’ll troubleshoot hardware and software problems, manage user accounts and permissions, support technology deployments, and help ensure our systems and equipment operate effectively.

You’ll work in a demanding, results-oriented environment where strong problem-solving, prioritization, and customer service skills are essential.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Operations & Support

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees experiencing IT-related problems and requests
  • Install, configure, and upgrade software and operating systems
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory, repair, and activity records
  • Apply and reinforce TSG guidelines and policies
  • Manage user accounts and permissions
  • Partner with other TSG colleagues to test new applications and upgrades
  • Coordinate off-site repairs with external vendors
  • Monitor backups and periodically test backed-up data
  • Support the supervision and training of junior TSG team members
  • Lead end-user technology training programs

ABOUT YOU

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated interest and aptitude in technology and technical problem-solving
  • Experience in a customer service or technical support environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong communication skills and a confident, self-motivated approach
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
  • Ability to remain calm and think clearly under pressure
  • Strong team orientation and willingness to support colleagues in delivering an excellent customer experience
  • Experience managing and prioritizing service requests and escalations
  • Experience creating and maintaining documentation, processes, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience with remote support tools and techniques

WORKING MODEL

This role requires in-office presence five days per week at Bain’s Chicago office.

U.S. COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below).

Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:

  • In Chicago, IL, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between 58k and 70k; placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training, and skill level
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus
  • This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
  • 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
