Numan Waheed is the head of our Americas Enterprise Technology practice and serves as the global lead for Enterprise Technology topics within industrial sectors. He is also a member of our Advanced Manufacturing & Services, Strategy, and AI, Insights, and Solutions practices.
With over 15 years of management consulting experience, Numan works with clients to address critical challenges in technology strategy, business transformation, operating models, and operational performance improvement.
He advises clients across a range of industries—including automotive, aerospace, machinery, logistics, technology, retail, consumer goods, fintech, and payments—on topics such as digital and IT strategy, AI at scale, Agile operating models, systems and data architecture, value optimization for large programs, and overall technology performance improvement.
Before joining the firm in 2007, Numan was a research associate at the Goodyear Institute of Polymer Science, specializing in computational simulation. He also held roles in product and process development at Procter & Gamble.
Numan holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where his research focused on computational modeling and he minored in finance at the Sloan School of Management. He earned his B.S. in chemical engineering with honors from Cornell University.
Outside of work, Numan actively supports Atlanta-based non-profits as a board and leadership advisor and spends as much time as possible cycling and enjoying the outdoors.
