We invite women university and PhD students to join our Jumpstart program, where you’ll collaborate with Bain consultants known for their analytical expertise and passion for results. How to apply for this program
Jumpstart is open to women university students in their fourth Bachelor semester or higher, as well as PhD students from all fields, who are interested in joining one of our German or Austrian offices.

Who can apply for Jumpstart?
We are looking for outstanding women talent: university students (from the fourth Bachelor semester onwards) and PhD candidates from any field of study who are interested in joining Bain as an intern in a German or Austrian office location. In addition to excellent grades and outstanding analytical skills, you should have some practical experience. If you have already gained experience abroad, this is an advantage.

In what language should my application documents be?
Documents can be in English or German.

What language will be spoken at the event?
We are planning to host the event in German or English depending on the background of our participants.

Will Bain cover any costs?
Bain will cover travel costs from European countries. Accommodations, food, and drinks served at the event will be free.

Can I apply for a foreign Bain office?
No. Jumpstart addresses candidates with an interest in doing an internship in a German or Austrian office location.

Can I apply for a position at Bain even if I haven’t been invited to Jumpstart?
Sure! We encourage participants to apply to our roles.

How can I best prepare for the interviews?
Our tip: "Practice makes perfect." You should prepare yourself for structuring concepts, mental arithmetic, and business judgment. It is also worthwhile to take a look at the daily newspapers. You can find some case studies on our website. In addition, many applicants use training platforms such as squeaker.net or Preplounge. We also go into detail on this topic in our virtual interview training ahead of the event.
