Ankur Ahuja

Ankur Ahuja is a member of the Energy practice at Bain, with deep experience in running Performance Improvement and Post Merger Integration projects.

Ankur's key client results include:

• Supporting the integration of 2 Aircraft leasing companies to create the #1 global Aircraft Lessor, which included delivering a reduction of 33% of combined SG&A costs through synergies and ensuring a successful Day 1, with all milestones achieved on schedule.
• Supporting the successful integration of two global water services and solutions providers with operations across Americas, APAC and EMEA (combined revenues >$2.5B) by ensuring continued success of integration up to Day 1, setting clear milestones to assure pathway to timely synergy realisation, robust communication planning and change management.
• Delivering cost and complexity reduction at a UK refinery, which included improved frontline productivity, enhanced reliability, optimisation of capital projects, simplification and digitisation of core engineering processes, optimisation of refinery turnarounds, and offshoring of support functions.

Outside of case work, Ankur leads the South Asians at Bain affinity group, and was responsible for articulating the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy for Bain London and commencing the delivery of a number of key initiatives.

Ankur has an MBA from INSEAD, an MSc in finance & economics from LSE, and a BA in economics from Delhi University.
