Farman Memon is a member of our Financial Services practice, serving clients across APAC and EMEA. He is also an active contributor to the firm's Private Equity, AI, Insights & Solutions, Technology and Public Sector practices.
Farman advises banks, nonbank financial companies (NBFCs), fintechs, and asset managers on strategy, business unit growth, cost transformation, and mergers and acquisitions. He has deep expertise in payments, working across issuers, acquirers, and networks, as well as wealth management, advising asset management companies (AMCs), brokers, and wealth-tech players. He has also led transformation and value-creation initiatives for public- and private-sector banks.
In his work with private equity and venture capital investors, Farman advises on target identification, operational and commercial due diligence, and portfolio support, having delivered more than 40 due diligence projects. He also has extensive experience in AI and technology transformation, including use case identification, pilot design and scale-up, and operating model setup.
Farman holds a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a dual B.Tech.–M.Tech. degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, where he was the institute topper.
