Henrik Madsen leads the firm's Energy & Natural Resources practice across the Nordics.
He is drawn to the toughest problems of the energy transition — and the large capital projects that will define it. Over two decades at Bain, Henrik has advised leading energy players around the world. He focuses on offshore wind, renewables and grids, working with utilities, developers, suppliers and investors on the strategic and operational challenges of decarbonization.
His expertise centers on two areas: capital projects acceleration and tender excellence. In capital projects, he covers the full spectrum — from building the organizations that deliver large-scale projects to embedding with individual project teams to sharpen their value and performance. In tender excellence, he brings a long track record of helping clients win large-scale tenders.
Henrik is based in Copenhagen, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.
