WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This full-time hybrid role is based in our Mexico City office and is part of Bain’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Center of Expertise (CoE) within the Bain Capability Network.
You will collaborate with global leadership, client-facing consulting teams, and clients to develop and deliver proprietary TMT insights and solutions. The TMT CoE supports leading organizations across industries including:
- Wireline and wireless telecommunications
- Cable and satellite
- Media and entertainment
- Software and technology
- Semiconductors and hardware
- Communications service providers (CSPs)
- IT services
The team partners closely with Bain case teams to develop and deploy industry-specific analytical products that help answer strategic business questions for clients around the world.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As an Associate within the TMT CoE, you will work alongside Project Leads, Associates, and Analysts on engagements ranging from 3 weeks to 6 months.
Projects may involve:
- Working as part of a global Bain consulting team
- Collaborating with TMT practice stakeholders
- Supporting Bain Associate Partners and Partners directly
- Engaging directly with clients on specialized analyses and insights
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Contribute to projects within the Technology, Media & Telecommunications sector
- Own assigned workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs
- Analyze complex datasets to generate actionable insights and develop subject matter expertise
- Ensure timely, accurate, and error-free analysis through rigorous quality checks
- Leverage analytical tools such as Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau to deliver insights
- Collaborate effectively with Analysts, Associates, Project Leads, and consulting teams
- Present findings clearly and professionally to team members and stakeholders
- Support project delivery while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Continuously seek feedback and invest in professional development
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance and 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, or
- Master’s degree with strong academic performance and 1–3 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience within the Technology, Media, or Telecommunications industries preferred
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and engage with senior stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in fast-paced environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving business requirements
- Demonstrated learning agility and ability to quickly adopt new tools, methodologies, and ways of working
- This role is an onsite position and requires working in the office four days per week
