Matthew Barron

Matt Barron is a member of our Advanced Manufacturing and Services practice.

Matt has significant experience working with senior management teams to address their most pressing strategic and operational issues, including multiple enterprise-wide transformations to drive growth, optimize operations, and install and adopt new technology. Additionally, he has experience supporting private-equity owned businesses with their post-acquisition strategy.

His primary areas of focus at Bain is supporting construction & building product companies with their growth strategies and transformations. This has spanned all major functions of the organizations from sales, supply chain, innovation, finance (including M&A), and technology (Digital and IT).

Within Bain, Matt is a leader in many of our local people initiatives, including past experience as a school team lead for recruiting, as a program manager for our associate consultants and in a rotational role as the Chief of Staff for the Texas offices.

Matt earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with a concentration in computer science.

Outside of work, Matt is an avid marathon runner and father of three young children.
