WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join our Enterprise Technology team within Vector, Bain’s digital delivery platform. Vector brings together experts across technology, engineering, data, AI, product management, and digital transformation to help clients solve their most complex business challenges.
Within Enterprise Technology, you'll support our Technology Foundations solutions, which focus on the core capabilities that enable successful business and technology transformation. These include enterprise architecture, data foundations, cloud and infrastructure, technology operating models, product engineering and delivery, and cybersecurity.
Working alongside consulting teams, technology experts, and practice leaders globally, you'll help shape innovative solutions that drive measurable impact for clients.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Vector Solution Practice Consultant, Technology Foundations, you will help develop, scale, and commercialize Bain's technology transformation solutions. You will play a key role in solution innovation, thought leadership, commercialization, and client enablement, helping ensure our offerings remain differentiated, relevant, and impactful.
This role sits at the intersection of technology expertise, consulting, product development, and commercial strategy, offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and leading-edge technology topics, including AI-enabled transformation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Solution Strategy & Innovation
- Partner with practice leadership to develop growth strategies and long-term plans for Technology Foundations solutions
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and ecosystem assessments to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership and solution content on emerging technology topics
- Help evolve Bain's technology transformation offerings based on client needs, market trends, and case team feedback
- Collaborate with knowledge and product teams to incorporate best practices and insights from client engagements into solution development
Solution Development & Enablement
- Develop tools, methodologies, and assets that support successful client delivery
- Partner with consulting teams to ensure solutions remain practical, scalable, and client-focused
- Support onboarding, training, and capability-building efforts for internal teams
- Create solution materials, implementation guidance, and learning content to enable broader adoption across the firm
- Serve as a trusted resource for teams seeking guidance on technology transformation topics
Commercialization & Go-to-Market
- Support the development and execution of commercialization strategies for Technology Foundations solutions
- Build proposal content, client presentations, demonstrations, and other business development materials
- Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to increase awareness and adoption of solution offerings
- Analyze market feedback, competitive insights, and win/loss trends to improve commercial effectiveness
- Support strategic client pursuits by contributing expertise and solution content for priority opportunities
AI, Analytics & Tools Development
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, content creation, and insight generation
- Help develop and enhance technology-enabled tools that support client diagnostics, decision-making, and transformation efforts
- Partner with technical teams to identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve solution delivery and client impact
ABOUT YOU
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5–8 years of experience in consulting, professional services, technology strategy, digital transformation, or a related field
- Candidates with an MBA or Master's degree may be considered with 4–5 years of relevant experience
- Current or recent consulting experience at the Consultant or Manager level
- Expertise in at least one technology domain, such as:
- Enterprise Architecture
- Data & Analytics Foundations
- Cloud & Infrastructure
- Technology Operating Models
- Product Operating Models
- Software Engineering & Delivery
- Cybersecurity
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations
- Experience using AI tools to support research, analysis, and content development
- Ability to independently manage workstreams and deliver high-quality outcomes with limited oversight
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience creating executive-level materials
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic discussions
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions
- Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and improvement
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting the development of junior team members
Working Model
This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence in accordance with local office policies and business needs.
