WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join Bain’s Global Real Estate team, a group responsible for delivering world-class workplaces that support our people, strengthen collaboration, and enable exceptional client service across the globe.
Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, you’ll help shape and deliver real estate projects that reflect Bain’s premium standards while supporting the firm’s growth across the Asia-Pacific region. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across multiple functions, external consultants, and vendor partners to create innovative, efficient, and high-performing work environments.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Senior Specialist, Global Real Estate, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, delivery, and operational excellence of corporate real estate projects across APAC. You will contribute to workplace innovation, procurement excellence, and the development of consistent real estate standards while helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to Bain’s quality standards.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects while partnering with stakeholders across countries, cultures, and time zones. You will also leverage emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools to enhance project delivery and operational effectiveness.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Support APAC Real Estate Project Delivery
- Partner with the Regional Real Estate Lead to support the end-to-end delivery of corporate real estate projects across APAC.
- Support budgeting, procurement, cost and contract administration, and the review of technical design drawings.
- Coordinate project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered meeting project goals and to Bain's premium quality standards.
- Work with external consultants and vendors to track project milestones, risks, budgets, and timelines to support effective execution.
Consultant & Vendor Management
- Support consultants and vendors sourcing, evaluation, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Manage consultants and vendors’ deliverables throughout project lifecycles to ensure quality, compliance, and delivery expectations are met.
- Maintain relationships with external regional/global vendors to drive consistency and continuous improvement.
Regional & Global Strategic Initiatives
- Contribute to workplace standards, design guidelines, procurement frameworks, project playbooks, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to promote consistency across Bain’s real estate portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to improve governance, efficiency, sustainability, and cost effectiveness.
Post-Occupancy & Operational Support
- Support local offices with post-move activities, warranty management, defect resolution, and occupancy stabilization.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure a seamless workplace experience after project completion.
- Assist with facilities-related maintenance and operational issues as needed.
ABOUT YOU
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Facility Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 5–8 years of experience managing corporate real estate projects across the APAC region.
- Strong understanding of corporate real estate project management processes, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
- Working knowledge of workplace design, procurement, construction, and facilities operations management.
- Knowledgeable in construction contracts, contract conditions, and the legal principles governing their interpretation and administration.
- Experience in managing the Defects Liability Period (DLP) and contractual obligations, including defect resolution, maintenance issues, and contractual disputes.
- Cross-function stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and build consensus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with regional and global stakeholders across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and an interest in adopting emerging technologies to improve project delivery.
