Ryan Petranovich

Ryan Petranovich is a member of our Technology and Cloud Services practice.

He is a leader of our perspectives on AI/GenAI/agentic AI in the software industry, specializing in AI-enabled business transformations for our technology clients. Additionally, Ryan has experience in supporting our private equity clients in evaluating investment opportunities and supporting technology and AI diligence efforts.

Ryan has also played a role in defining Bain's internal AI strategy, and the development and scaling of various GenAI-enabled tools that our consultants use daily.

Before joining Bain, Ryan spent time at Cisco Systems, Medallia, and Kroll (FKA Duff & Phelps) in corporate development, strategy, and data science functions.

Ryan holds a MS in computer science (machine learning) from The University of Chicago, an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and bachelor's degrees in mathematics and business (finance) from The University of Washington.
