Nishma Gosrani OBE is a Partner in Bain’s Financial Services practice, based in London. She is the founder of Stratos, Bain’s CEO Platform for financial services - a network spanning more than 100 chief executives across EMEA and Asia - co-founded with Dame Amanda Blanc DBE. Through Stratos and its affiliated Academy, delivered in partnership with the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, Nishma convenes the most senior leaders in global banking, insurance, and capital markets, shaping the agenda on leadership, strategy, and the future of the industry.
With over two decades of financial services consulting experience, Nishma advises CEOs and boards on their most consequential decisions. Her expertise spans enterprise transformation, operating model redesign, strategic workforce and leadership capability, the impact of Gen AI on organisational strategy, and the intersection of culture, purpose, and performance. She has guided Tier 1 banks, global insurers, and market infrastructure institutions through complex transformation - delivering outcomes from large-scale efficiency programmes to AI talent strategy and fintech partnership models.
Nishma was invested with an OBE in His Majesty’s 2020 Honours List for services to diversity and inclusion, including pioneering gender pay gap reporting and contributing to changes in the Equality Act. She served on Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s Business Council from 2023 to 2024, and co-authored the HM Treasury Women in Finance Charter Blueprint. She has given evidence before the Treasury Select Committee, and her work and commentary have been published in the Financial Times and The Banker. She is recognised as a Financial Times Top 35 Future Leader and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
