Hi, my name is Karen. I’ve been with Bain since 2013. I’m originally Lebanese, although I lived across Saudi Arabia for much of my childhood.
I went to the US for university and focused on studying engineering. After a few internships, I realized I wanted to do something less ‘linear’. I was attracted to the day-to-day ‘thrill’ of the job, the enormous variety in the work and the privilege of being part of one of the most prestigious firms in the world.
Since then, Bain lived up to everything it promised me – and more. I built lifelong relationships and met some of the most remarkable and inspirational people. I grew from a young, relatively timid, new graduate to an advisor for C-suite executives in some of the largest multinational firms of my region. I’ve also had the chance to get exposed to a wide range of industries and capabilities. From Private Equity to Retail to Industrials, from customer experience to cost transformations to digital – I learned more than I could ever imagine in a span of 6 years. I’m currently focusing on a large transformation for one of our long-standing clients – I enjoy being a true partner to my clients and helping them make some of their most complex and strategic decisions.
I have been lucky to find myself in a career where I feel rewarded by the impact we deliver every single day – with colleagues and clients I absolutely love working with.
