Rajat Dua

Rajat is a member of our Private Equity practice. He advises private equity investors and portfolio company leadership teams on the strategic and operational implications of AI and data, working at the intersection of investment decision-making and AI/data-enabled value creation.

He has worked extensively across technology, professional services, consumer products, financial services, healthcare, and tech-enabled services businesses, assessing competitive differentiation, AI disruption risk, product evolution with an AI lens, and automation potential. Post-acquisition, Rajat partners with management teams to define and implement AI-enabled value creation initiatives spanning operating model redesign, workflow automation, product enhancement, and commercial enablement.

Rajat also plays a leadership role in developing our AI capabilities within the private equity practice, helping integrate AI considerations more systematically into investment processes and portfolio support. Beyond his case work, he is an active contributor to the firm's Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and a Bain mental health "first aider".

Rajat holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in technology (computer science). Outside of work, he is passionate about music and is part of a London-based choir. He also enjoys theatre, reading, and playing tennis and cricket.
