Marta Alves is a member of our AI, Insights & Solutions practice, with over 15 years of experience spanning business strategy, AI, technology, and product delivery.

She focuses on personalization, experimentation, and predictive maintenance and has sector expertise in energy and natural resources, construction, private equity, financial services, and retail. Marta plays a key role in advancing our intellectual property, leading client engagements, and driving operational excellence across the practice. She also helps scale our latest AI capabilities across industries and contributes actively to the practice’s knowledge base and published content.

Before joining Bain, Marta applied her analytical and engineering skills in bridge structural design, predictive maintenance, and bridge management systems. She holds a master’s degree in engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA from INSEAD, where she graduated on the Dean’s List.
