Vinoth Rajasekar

Vinoth is a member of our AI, Insights & Solutions practice, specializing in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and enterprise-scale machine learning and software systems.

He advises senior executives and client teams on AI strategy, architecture, and tech operating models, and leads large-scale AI transformations. He brings deep expertise at the intersection of AI and software engineering, leading the design and development of production-grade AI systems and platforms. Vinoth leads cross-functional teams of data scientists, ML engineers, and software and platform engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance AI solutions. As a leader of our North America's Generative AI ML Engineering Guild, he defines firm-wide standards, reference architectures, and delivery playbooks that accelerate the adoption of Generative AI across client engagements.

Prior to Bain, Vinoth led the design, deployment, and scaling of complex, real-time AI and software systems, including fraud detection ML models and platforms in banking, ad optimization systems supporting over $1B in annual spend, telecom data platforms processing terabytes of data daily, and auto and home rating platforms and algorithms for property and casualty insurance carriers. 

Vinoth holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, specializing in Machine Learning, a Graduate Certificate in Natural Language Processing from the University of Washington, and is completing a Graduate Certificate in Generative AI and Large Language Models from Carnegie Mellon. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from the University of Madras, graduating with first class distinction.
