Kirk Willmarth

Kirk Willmarth is a member of our Healthcare & Life Sciences practice, supporting life science clients with a focus on business strategy and commercialization.

He has over 10 years of consulting experience and primarily advises financial investors on opportunities in the life sciences sector. He also works with leading life sciences companies on strategic initiatives, with particular focus on the pharma services, pharma software, and life science tools sectors.

In addition to his client work, Kirk is an active member of Bain’s global training team, serving as a trainer in global sessions across all levels. He has held multiple leadership roles within the San Francisco people and operations team, including program manager and staffer for new consultants.

Kirk holds master’s degrees in developmental biology from Stanford University and in science policy from Duke University. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from Duke University.
