Marco D'Avino

Marco D'Avino is the co-head of our Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Performance Improvement practice. He is also a member of our Logistics & Transportation practice.

A mining and EPC specialist, he is also a core member of our broader Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice.

Over the course of his career, including more than 12 years with our firm, Marco has advised executive teams on performance improvement, organization and operations management. He is especially well-versed in managing and driving large-scale transformations, as well as leveraging Agile and Scrum methodologies.

He has also managed and delivered business diligences for private equity clients, spanning such sectors as media, technology and industrial goods and services.

Marco's intellectual property has been published in various international periodicals, with topics encompassing de-bottlenecking operations, supply chain, operations management, inventory management and entrepreneurship.

Prior to joining us, Marco served as a material team leader for Indesit Company. He also founded and created JoinJob, the first Italian web- and mobile-based network service platform, as well as a new supply chain inventory management system.

He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, as well as both master's and bachelor's degrees in management engineering, from Tor Vergata University. He also earned an International Master in Manufacturing Management from Linköpings Universitet.
