Paulo Goncalves

Paulo is a member of our Mining practice.

With more than 10 years of experience, Paulo specializes in helping organizations improve operational performance and deliver large-scale transformations through a combination of strategic thinking, rigorous analytics, and hands-on execution. He works with mining companies across the value chain on operational excellence, performance improvement, capital project delivery, advanced analytics, agile ways of working, and enterprise transformations.

He also partners with executive leadership and site teams to identify value creation opportunities, develop implementation roadmaps, and deliver sustainable operational and financial results across multiple commodities and geographies.

Prior to Bain, Paulo worked in strategy and operations consulting, corporate leadership development, and entrepreneurship. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School, including an exchange at Chicago Booth, and a degree in Production Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
