Michael Sion is a member of our Aerospace & Defense and Private Equity practices.
He advises corporate and investor clients across aerospace & defense and industrials, with a focus on strategy, commercial due diligence, and value creation. His work spans commercial aerospace, defense, government services, space, and adjacent sectors, where he supports both leading companies and private capital investors.
Michael has authored several Bain reports on the aerospace and defense supply base and the commercial aerospace outlook. His perspectives have been featured in the Financial Times, Aviation Week, and other media outlets.
Michael was a founding member of Bain's Washington, DC office after working three years in the New York office. Before joining Bain, he started his career at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and DFI International, focusing on strategy and policy issues in national security.
He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in international affairs from George Washington University.
