Share your journey to Bain.

I knew about consulting since undergrad but only seriously considered it during the third year of my Ph.D. Thinking about different opportunities after graduation, I wanted to try something besides academics. I took business courses and participated in different internship opportunities in industries and consulting. After deciding to pursue a career in consulting and spending half a year in preparation, I received an offer from Bain.

How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?

I know a right company for me is a company where I can learn and grow, has the culture that I am fitted in, and the people that I want to work with. At Bain, you constantly have new opportunities and challenges through which you can learn and build your own assets. As for the culture, Bain is constantly featured as "Best place to work" - we have the culture that "A Bainie never let another Bainie down", which always makes me feel supported and motivated.

Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?

At Bain there are always different opportunities that can excite you and make you feel inspired. I am able to serve world leading corporates in advanced materials, batteries, food & agriculture, consumer products and so on. It is fruitful when you see your work has truly helped your client reshaped their ways of working or implemented something that is unprecedented.
