Hyunsik Jung

Hyunsik Jung is a member of our Consumer Products and Retail practice and serves as the Professional Standards Manager responsible for risk oversight across the Seoul office.

Hyunsik partners with leading Korean consumer products and retail companies on enterprise-wide strategy and transformation agendas, including a full-scale transformation program for one of Korea’s largest retailers, with a focus on operational levers such as retail negotiation strategy and category strategy. His broader experience spans go-to-market strategy, mergers and acquisitions strategy, and commercial due diligence for consumer and retail clients.

He brings experience across strategy consulting and private equity, having originally joined Bain as an Associate Consultant in 2016. Hyunsik later spent two years at one of Korea’s largest private equity funds, where he focused on business strategy and performance management across portfolio companies before rejoining Bain. 

Hyunsik holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Seoul National University.
