Kanishka is a member of our AI, Insights, and Solutions practice and serves a range of sectors, particularly Private Equity.
He brings nearly 20 years of expertise in statistical modeling and building end-to-end ML pipelines. Since 2022, he has focused heavily on designing, building, and scaling generative-AI products that drive efficiency and revenue in large enterprises.
He advises clients in financial services, retail, aviation, wealth management, and private equity, including due diligence, driving portfolio value-creation strategy, and capability assessments. He works with experienced engineering teams to deliver bespoke GenAI solutions from MVP to full-scale roll-out.
Prior to joining Bain, he was a quant in hedge funds, led data-science teams at a major tech firm, and helped corporations rethink decision-making with innovative ML algorithms. He holds an MSc and DPhil in Applied Statistics from Oxford University, where he developed large-scale genomics methods and lectured for a decade.
Outside of work, he teaches Machine Learning and Leadership at London Business School, and when he’s not working on AI, he’s probably playing cricket.
