LONDON & MILAN —September 15, 2025— Bain & Company today announced senior leadership changes in its Financial Services practice in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), strengthening its fast-growing role as a strategic partner for leading financial institutions across the region and worldwide. 

Bain announced the appointment of Milan-based partner Manfredi de’ Mozzi as the new leader of the firm’s Financial Services practice for its Southern & Eastern Europe (SEE) region, which includes Italy, Greece, Turkey, Poland, Spain, and Portugal. Alongside, the strategy consulting firm also confirmed that Marcello Pallotta will take over as leader of its Financial Services in Italy.  

With these appointments, effective from September 11, Bain further enhances its ability to support clients in the FS sector in Italy and across EMEA region, consolidating the firm’s position as an industry leader in providing advice to Europe’s leading financial services businesses.

Manfredi de’ Mozzi joined Bain in 2006 and has led the firm’s EMEA and global SME Banking and Corporate Banking practices, based in Milan. He has over 20 years of experience in the banking sector, during which he has supported national and international financial institutions, with a particular focus on M&A operations, post-merger integrations, and credit platforms. He is also an expert in developing customer engagement strategies and transformation programs aimed at corporates, SMEs and retail. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.

At Bain since 2007, Marcello Pallotta brings deep expertise in strategic consulting and works  closely with the leadership teams of major banks, insurance companies, and Italian financial institutions on strategy and organizational issues. He has advised leading Italian banks, supporting the transformation of business and operating models across the sector. He also led the development of Bain’s Insurance practice in Italy and has played a key role in expanding the firm’s asset management capabilities across EMEA. Marcello holds a degree in Economics from Roma Tre University and a PhD in Banking and Finance from Tor Vergata University in Rome.
