Brandon has over 10 years of industry and consulting expertise with a focus on performance improvement through procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain for the aerospace & defense and industrial manufacturing sectors. Brandon helps clients with cost takeout and manufacturing transformation through category management, lean manufacturing, complexity reduction, design for manufacturing, and strategic sourcing.
Over his career, Brandon has helped several organisations reduce their yearly costs through performance improvement levers including procurement, operations, and supply chain. He succesfully led footprint optimization effort for a Fortune 500 Defense client to identify and achieve $250M+ in recurring yearly savings to better align the company for current and future program affordability. He has also created centers of excellence to consolidate manufacturing to strategic locations (composites, electronics, wire harness, and machining focus) and defined “way to play” strategy to guide design-make-buy decisions, technology roadmap, and manufacturing focus areas for the future.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Brandon was a plant manager at Precision Castparts Corp., where he ran an IGT facility with 60 employees and was a graduate of their management development program.
Brandon holds a MBA with an operations & strategy focus from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business and a B.S. in chemical engineering, minor in economics from Case Western Reserve University. He also holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt – PCC Certification.
