David Waller

David Waller is the head of our Americas Packaging sub-sector. He also has significant experience in Advanced Manufacturing & Services, with an emphasis on building products across the value chain.

He joined the firm in 1999 and has been a partner since 2006. 

David spends the majority of his time working with financial investors, including private equity funds and family offices, and their operating companies.

David has served more than 100 assignments during his tenure at Bain across the globe. Issues have included integrated value creation blueprints, growth, performance improvement, diligence, merger integration and organization. He was also a founder of LATBA (Latinos at Bain).

David earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and received a BA from Yale, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, was awarded the President's Award for community service and raced as a coxswain on the heavyweight crew. He is a native of Santiago, Chile.
