Robert Pierce is an expert partner in our Private Equity and Technology practices, based in London.
His work spans all aspects of transaction advisory, including strategic analysis, tech and commercial due diligence, and transaction execution. He holds more than 30 years' experience working with European tech companies and investors helping define strategies, assess technology fit, and execute acquisitions, exits, and financings.
Robert focuses on enterprise software, including ERP, healthcare IT, marketing automation, IPTV, and tech-enabled services. He is passionate about helping growth software companies achieve their potential.
He most recently served as a managing director for Tech Economy, previously Bulger Partners LLP, where he led the firm's London office. Robert also has extensive leadership experience within large enterprises and entrepreneurial businesses, investor experience with one of UK’s most active growth capital firms, and has held board positions across both private and publicly traded companies.
Robert’s prior experience includes defining the strategy and leading the ECM and advisory business for Lloyds Bank, as well as building and leading one of Europe’s prominent software and tech services franchises for Robertson Stephens. He began his career as an M&A lawyer with Skadden Arps in New York.
He holds an MBA from INSEAD and an LL.M in Corporate Law from the NYU School of Law.
