The Initiative Climat International (iCI) is a global, practitioner-led community of private markets firms and investors that seeks to better understand and manage the risks associated with climate change. The iCI was originally launched as the iC20 (Initiative Climat 2020) in 2015 by a group of French private equity firms to contribute to achieving the Paris Agreement’s objectives. The iCI has since expanded internationally and now counts more than 250 firms representing over US$4 trillion in AUM, as of October 2023.

The Sustainable Markets Initiative was launched in 2020 at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos by His Majesty King Charles III when he was The Prince of Wales. The Sustainable Markets Initiative is a network of global CEOs across industries working together to build prosperous and sustainable economies that generate long-term value through the balanced integration of natural, social, human, and financial capital. These global CEOs are committed to helping their industries chart a more ambitious, accelerated, and sustainable trajectory.
