Emma von Maur is a member of our Consumer Products practice.

Emma has advised many of the top 50 consumer products companies, focusing on food, beverage, and personal care categories. Her work spans brand strategy, portfolio optimization, marketing capability building, and M&A. Emma partners with clients to reinvigorate mature portfolios and scale high-growth insurgent brands. She has also helped shape our perspective on leveraging repeatable growth models to drive brand performance.

Emma co-authored the Harvard Business School case The YES: Reimagining the Future of E-Commerce with Artificial Intelligence and leads HBS global recruiting for Bain. Before joining our firm, she worked on the strategy team at luxury jewelry brand David Yurman and began her career in consumer and retail investment banking. She earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University.

Outside of work, Emma is a certified Mat Pilates and Yoga Sculpt instructor. She enjoys teaching and taking fitness classes, exploring New York’s art museums, and discovering new podcasts.
