The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services, and Shared Services.


Who you will work with:

This role is based out of the Visualizations CoE – ARC team, which sits under the broader “Data & Tech” cluster at the BCN. ARC is Bain's state-of-the-art transformation management tool. We work closely with global Bain case teams, product teams and end-clients providing them data analytics and business intelligence support using advanced data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, SQL, PowerApps, Python, GenAI, Azure, AWS, etc.). The Client Enablement team here is responsible for deploying highly functional business intelligence and automation solutions on the ARC Platform - Bain's state-of-the-art transformation management tool - to help clients track progress of their transformation program.


What you'll do:

  •           Work with Bain teams as an expert on specific tools, such as Microsoft power platforms (PowerBI, PowerAutomate), SQL and Python to design and deliver impactful business intelligence tools or dashboardsDevelop understanding about the ARC tool and the data fields contained withinWork closely with the case team/ end-client/ ARC Solution Delivery team to understand requirements, build proof of concepts and draw roadmap for output delivery with clear milestonesWork under the guidance of a Senior Associate/ Manager, playing a key role in driving the team’s overall answer and final materials, client communication, work planning, and team managementGather requirements and business process knowledge in order to transform the data in a way that is geared towards the needs of end-users. Responsible for end-to-end handling of the entire process, i.e., requirement gathering, data cleaning, processing, visualization and deploymentApply knowledge of data warehousing and visualization to prepare dataflows using SQL, and then developing dashboards using PowerBI, to support case teams with analysis of KPIs and development of commercial dashboardsLead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards that deliver intuitive, high-performance data visualizations with minimum iterations. You'll create complex data models and write optimized DAX formulas to support self-service reporting and in-depth analysisAutomate workflows with Power Automate, allowing seamless integration between different applications, data sources, and business processesSolve complex custom visualization and analysis issues, providing thought leadership and business judgmentBrainstorm any possible roadblocks with the team, providing thought leadership and business judgmentParticipate in case team calls and effectively communicate data, knowledge, insights and actionable next steps to the case team; relay implications to his/her own internal teamMaintain documentation, metadata, and dictionaries for future reference


About you:

  •           Candidate should be a Graduate from a Top-tier College with strong academic records, and with 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience in areas related to Data Management, Business Intelligence or Business Analytics.Experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards, with a focus on data modeling, report performance optimization, and creating interactive visualizations (using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, SQL, and Python)Experience in developing custom Power Apps applications is a plus, with an emphasis on integrating Power Apps with diverse data sources, including SQL Server, Dataverse, and external APIsCompetent with PowerBI Desktop, Gateway, Service and Report Server tools; good understanding of Power Query M-code and hands-on experience in building sophisticated DAX queries
