Will Poindexter

Will Poindexter is a leader in our Applied Technology & AI practice and a member of the firm's Retail and Healthcare & Life Sciences practices. He previously led our Technology practice in the Americas, where he helped significantly expand the firm's capabilities, expertise and market presence.

With more than two decades of experience, Will advises senior executives on leveraging technology, data, and AI to drive business performance and enterprise transformation. His work spans technology and AI strategy, AI-enabled business transformation, technology operating model design, performance improvement and cost optimization, as well as technology integration and separation in M&A. He works extensively with clients across retail, healthcare, technology, and media, helping bridge business ambition with the technology capabilities and organizational changes required to deliver measurable results.

Will is passionate about helping organizations navigate major technological shifts and translate emerging capabilities into sustainable business value. He has played a significant role in building Bain's technology capabilities, and has also helped found and lead the firm's Agile solution area and helped clients adopt new ways of working.

Prior to joining Bain in 2009, Will was a senior manager at another management consulting firm, focused on technology strategy and management.

Will holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University.
