Bain & Company ranked as one of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For five years in a row

BOSTON—April 4, 2024— For the fifth year in a row, Bain & Company has ranked on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For® list. Based on employees' experiences of workplace culture, the list factors in employee insights on trust, fairness, connection with colleagues, respect, support, training, and meaningful work. Bain employees specifically noted the firm’s supportive and collaborative culture as well as the access it provides to career growth and professional development opportunities.

"Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list focuses on employee feelings of trust, inclusion, and fairness at work, factors that are critical to our ability to create extraordinary teams,” said Kara Gruver, Bain & Company’s chief talent officer. “We’re honored to be recognized on this list for a fifth year in a row. It is a testament to the dedication of our global teams, who keep front and center our firm-wide values of honesty and openness, as well our collective approach to working as one team.”

Bain & Company has earned recognition around the world as a great place to work. The firm ranked #1 on Glassdoor's list of 100 Best Places to Work in 2024. It is currently the only company in North America to earn a number one ranking on six separate occasions, and the firm has consistently ranked in the top four since Glassdoor founded the list in 2008. The firm also received the number one spot on each of Vault’s 2024 consulting rankings in North America; Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA); and Asia-Pacific (APAC) for the second year in a row in 2024. Additionally, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation recognized Bain as one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality” this year, with the firm earning a perfect score on the organization’s annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI) for 17 consecutive years.

The Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For List is highly competitive. Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture, selected the list using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback from more than 1.3 million U.S. employees. Companies are only considered for the list if they are Great Place To Work Certified™ organizations with 1,000 or more employees in the U.S.

Great Place To Work is the only company culture award in the world that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Companies are assessed on their ability to create a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of employee identity or job role.

Earning a spot on the list is an important indicator of overall company performance. Companies on the 100 Best list consistently outperform the market, and exceed their competitors on key business measures like retention and innovation.
