Domenico Azzarello

Domenico Azzarello is a member of Bain's Global Operating Committee. He is responsible for shaping the strategy and leading the operations of our EMEA offices, eight industrial practices, and six centers of competence across EMEA. He oversees the deployment of our plans, coordinates our regional activities and inspires our leadership and people to deliver enduring and sustainable results for our clients.   

Before assuming his current role in February 2019, Domenico spent five years as managing partner of our French team.

He is also a leader in our global Customer and Organization practices, as well as a core member of our Telecommunications, Media and Technology practices. He is also a key member of our global research team on loyalty and the Net Promoter System®.

Domenico has specific expertise in revenue growth, loyalty, customer experience improvement, and leading major corporate restructuring programs. These efforts have included the digital transformation of several global and regional tech/telco players, for which he redesigned the companies’ operations and tech infrastructure to deliver a reinvented customer experience.

Domenico is also an active contributor to our pro bono initiatives, focused on social entrepreneurship. 

Prior to joining the firm in 2002, he was one of the key founders of the European telecom practice at another global consulting firm.

In his personal time, Domenico sits on the board of the HEC Business School Foundation. He is fluent in Italian, English and French.
