Sriwatsan Krishnan

Sriwatsan Krishnan is a senior partner and co-head of our Asia-Pacific Private Equity practice. Sriwatsan led our Private Equity practice in India for 6 years, helping establish it as a trusted advisor to leading investors across the region.

With over 20 years of experience at Bain and extensive leadership experience across Asia, Sriwatsan brings a uniquely global perspective to investors and businesses. He spends his time between India and the United States and has worked extensively across Southeast Asia, China, Japan, and India, advising clients on growth, transformation, and value creation.

Sriwatsan partners with global private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, regional and domestic Asian investors, and other alternative asset managers across the entire investment lifecycle. His experience spans fund strategy, deal origination, commercial and operational due diligence, portfolio value creation, buy-and-build strategies, M&A, and exit planning, helping investors unlock sustainable returns at scale.

Sriwatsan has deep expertise in technology and digital-native sectors. He has advised many of the world's leading technology services, software, and AI-enabled businesses on growth strategy, operating model transformation, AI adoption, M&A, and operational excellence. He has also worked closely with high-growth consumer technology companies and digital disruptors, supporting them in accelerating growth, scaling monetization, and expanding into new markets.

Sriwatsan holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
