– Oliver L. Bittner, an expert in technology and digital strategy and transformation with more than 20 years of related experience, has joined Bain & Company’s enterprise technology team as a senior partner. He will be based in the firm’s Dubai office to lead Bain’s digital and technology strategy work across industries.
With deep expertise in leading digital strategy and technology-focused business transformations, IT optimization and technology restructuring, and IT M&A programs, Oliver is also skilled at designing, planning, executing, and scaling complex technology-led business Dubai, United Arab Emirates – April 29, 2022 transformation programs. He is passionate about leading the most complex client engagements around the globe, with relevant experience across multiple industries including life sciences, chemicals, industrial, natural resources, retail and consumer goods.
Prior to joining Bain & Company, Oliver led the Digital and Technology Strategy business in APAC, Middle East and Africa for another global consulting firm. There, Oliver was responsible for strategic client acquisition, client leadership and driving market expansion to grow digital and technology. Before this role, Oliver was responsible for building and leading the Technology and Digital Strategy practice in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Russia. Prior to that, he spent 14 years at another consulting firm as a Senior Vice President. Oliver holds an MBA from the University of Bradford, UK with distinction. Currently, he is looking forward to working with Bain & Company in the Dubai office.

His track record includes leading the global digital strategy development at a leading tire manufacturer in Japan, driving technology strategy and implementation including cost reduction at a Japan-HQ Life Sciences company, leading complex IT carve-out planning in the context of a mega merger in the life sciences industry, driving the digital strategy development and implementation planning at a global corporation based on a new digital business model, and leading the post-merger integration planning of a retailer and a cement company.
