Advances in technology and data analytics are changing every part of the medical treatment life cycle. Physicians in Asia-Pacific believe that several of the nonemergency services they provide, such as follow-ups or behavioural health care visits, could transition to digital or virtual platforms. Physicians we surveyed also believe that artificial intelligence or machine learning could be used for several in-hospital services, such as pathology, imaging, genetic testing and personalised treatment.
