He has more than 10 years of consulting experience across Asia Pacific, mostly around Southeast Asia.
Chung Yen primarily advises commodity-centric organizations and policymakers in the oil & gas, renewables, chemicals, mining and agricultural sectors. He is an expert on corporate / growth strategy, performance improvement, commercial excellence and commodities trading & risk management.
He is passionate about net zero and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics, and the pathways of decarbonization and energy transition in the energy and natural resources sectors.
Chung Yen holds a Master of International Economics and Finance from the University of Queensland and a B.A. in economics from the National University of Singapore.
