He comes with 15 years of management consulting and industry experience, with a strong focus on large scale transformations, customer experience, performance improvement and strategy.
Dimitris began his consulting path in 2010. During his tenure in the business, he has supported industrial conglomerates, big retailers and international consumer goods companies across Europe, Middle East, and USA in a wide range of topics, such as long-term strategy, operational excellence, product portfolio simplification, cost optimization, business/operating model redesign and reorganizations.
Before joining Bain, he worked in one of the leading Greek Telcos, where he held key senior commercial and operational positions. Among other, he established and led the customer experience department of the company, with a mandate to instill a new customer-centric culture. Additionally, he undertook the establishment of the first private fiber infrastructure company in SE Europe and became its Commercial Director. In that role, he also secured the company's financing from Greek banks and the Resilience & Recovery Fund (RRF).
Beyond his client work at Bain, Dimitris supports the Athens office’s recruiting efforts and the professional development of the local team.
He holds a M.Sc. in operations research from Columbia University (NYC) and a diploma degree in electrical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens - Greece.
In his personal time, Dimitris enjoys traveling and exploring the world, while trying to improve his tennis and boxing skills.
Time with his family and friends, along with good food, are the things he can't live without.
