Beyond the Bio Podcast
Coming from a family of medical professionals in India, Prasad Narasimhan Sulur chose to break this career cycle and study engineering. This choice led him to the University of Cincinnati, where he earned his master’s in electrical engineering and started a career in the U.S. As his journey continued, Prasad found an interest and shifted his career to technology, leading him to Tuck to earn his MBA and learn more about the business behind it. Finding his way to Bain in 2005, he now leads our technology and cloud practice in our Boston office.
After joining Bain, Prasad found there were more than just career obstacles that would come as he elevated at the firm. For many, integrating your culture and job culture can be a challenge, but it’s important to create space for all to be welcomed and supported at work. Prasad co-leads our Americas Asians at Bain affinity group, Bain’s tightknit community that provides support, resources, mentorship and connectivity for our Asian professionals to thrive. Listen to Prasad’s journey to the U.S. and Bain, and why he advocates for our Asians at Bain affinity group that has the goal of ensuring every individual has the right “ring of support” required to have a successful and sustainable long-term career at the firm.
