Fabio Russo is part of Bain's Performance Improvement capability with a strong focus on Procurement.
Fabio has more than 20 years of procurement experience, thereof a dozen in the industry - mainly automotive and manufacturing. In his consulting experience, he has served clients across several industries, both manufacturing and financial services, globally.
Fabio's expertise relates to broader procurement transformation, cost out programs, value capture (especially on indirect spend), procurement operating model and org design, and digital procurement strategy.
In addition to his client work, Fabio is currently leading the development of Bain Procurement University.
Prior to joining us, he was an expert associate partner for another global consulting firm and served as a head of BU procurement for Belden Inc and Product development lead for Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). With the latter he covered several roles within the global procurement organization, both on category lead as well as on country procurement office set up.
Fabio holds an Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management, a MSc. in engineering management from University of Naples, Federico II, and a master's in total cost management from University Bocconi, Milan.
