Application deadline for the Building and Supporting Excellence (BASE) Scholars program is May 5th, 2024 at 11:59 PM PT.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:

The Building and Supporting Excellence (BASE) Scholars Program is designed for pre-MBA students who identify as Black, Hispanic/Latin American or Indigenous (Native American, Alaska Native, Inuit, Métis and First Nations). BASE provides the opportunity to enhance your business and leadership skills. You will collaborate with Bain case teams, develop your business acumen, engage with members of Bain’s leadership team, and gain exposure to one of the world’s leading strategy consulting firms. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

The BASE Program is available in all US offices and Toronto. As a BASE Scholar, you will receive:

  • An in-person “week in the life” experience as a Bain consultant during BASE Camp (held July 22-26 or July 29-August 2), designed to provide an immersive introduction to strategy consulting 
  • A personal network of Bain mentors for business school and beyond 
  • Membership in a diverse community of future business leaders 
  • A stipend for participation in BASE Camp
  • An opportunity to learn more about a potential Summer Associate internship in 2025 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Identify as Black, Hispanic/Latin American or Indigenous (Native American, Alaska Native, Inuit, Métis and First Nations)
  • Plan to start a full-time two-year MBA program in Fall 2024 and plan to graduate in 2026
  • Energized by solving tough problems and driving real impact
  • Have an interest in learning more about joining any of Bain’s US or Toronto offices after business school
